Crisis Care

GVCASA provides a 24 hour telephone crisis line. This is often the first point of contact for recent rape victims, distressed or suicidal clients, parents of children who have disclosed abuse and partners of victim/survivors.

In the case of recent assaults, the GVCASA worker can act as an advocate, provide support and information and explain the options, processes, rights and implications of different choices.

If you wish to report a sexual assault to police immediately, please contact the Victoria Police, Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Service.
